This is the final installment of our four part series on movie posters. Today we are looking at war movies. There was an awful lot of posters to choose from in his category and as you can see, I ended up with a post about twice as long as the previous ones. Again, most of them are from behind what used to be the iron curtain, but we also have some from Italy and quite a lot from Japan.
You will notice that I took some liberty with the term “war movie”, not limiting myself to the traditional World War II movies but also including older wars and even some historical movies with knights or samurai. You don’t mind, do you?
If you want to go and search for more posters, these came from Posteritati.com, cinemaposter.com and from terry-posters.com. On all of these sites, and the ones mentioned in the previous posts, are still lots and lots of beautiful posters waiting for you. Posters for musicals, documentaries, children’s movies, comedies, etc… and of course more westerns, thrillers, sci-fi movies and war movies. Do yourself a favor and go check them out. In many cases you can even buy some posters, if you really fall in love with them.
