Mata Mata Tattoo Shop

Mister P., the aspiring tattoo-artist, liked the post on NY Adorned I put up a while ago, and replied by sending another tattoo-shop video. This one is more lighthearted and has a great soundtrack.

Ah, ça fait rêver, n’est-ce pas?

Thanks to Mr. P… Check out his site.

How to Write Great Fiction

jonathan safran foerIsabel AllendeJonathan AmesJohn Irving

Walter MosleyYann MartelMargaret AtwoodBret easton Ellis

A series of excerpts from “Big Think” interviews, full of advice for everybody who wants to write (be it a novel like everybody, or a screenplay like the rest…). These are the big guys, people: Salman Rushdie, John Irving, Jonathan Safran Foer, Yann Martel, Bret Easton Ellis, Isabel Allende, Margaret Atwood and more…

Head on over to the Big Think site for the complete series, or check out this first one by Salman Rushdie, with the very sensible title “Inspiration is Nonsense!”, right here.

Toronto Comic Arts Festival

pencil it in

“Pencil it in” is a promotional video for the upcoming Toronto Comic Arts Festival. The idea is really simple, but perfectly executed: show the artists, preferably in his or her own workplace, and let them talk about the material they use. That’s it.

Perfect little video.

In my opinion, they should make a two hour movie like this.
