The work of Jose Luis Garcia Lechner has been featured on Monsieur Bandit before (see?). A few days ago, the Spanish/Dutch freelance illustrator send me an email he just finished an exciting project. For the famous Swiss Chef Meta Hiltebrand he made all the illustrations for her new cookbook. A cookbook with nothing but illustrations! What a delight…

Harry Diaz is a Guatemalan born artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. In his work, which includes screen printing, drawing, painting and digital media, he often uses symbols and patterns that have references in Mayan textiles and hieroglyphs, but also playful characters and imagery from 50’s and 60’s American cartoons.
