Tatsuro Kiuchi is a Japanese illustrator (born in 1966 in Tokyo) who originally graduated in biology at the Tokyo University, but switched to an art career after studying at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
He started out making children’s books for Japanese and American publishers and later branched out into editorial work and illustrations for book jackets and advertising.
And I know full well I’m not going to win any prices for originality by posting his work, but it’s just too beautiful not to, isn’t it?
I love the monochrome series he has been doing.
