You might remember Johannes Timpernagel from the post on Skyence – INSCT from November, last year. Today, he teams up with Robert Pohle and Sebastian Huber to make a video for the Sonic.Art saxophone quartet from Berlin.
To make the video, they used a combination of analogue and digital techniques. The members of the quartet were filmed in front of a green screen. An audio-reactive VVVV-drawing-application was created, which tracks the contours of the video footage. These were combined with hand-made sketches of the musicians.
