You might remember I like cookbooks. Especially illustrated cookbooks. Yesterday I came across a rather special one, dedicated to Italian pasta (which I like a lot) and illustrated with only the most minimalistic of  drawings in black and white.

The Geometry of Pasta book pairs over 100 authentic recipes from critically acclaimed chef, Jacob Kenedy, with award-winning designer Caz Hildebrand’s stunning black-and-white designs to reveal the science, history and philosophy behind spectacular pasta dishes from all over Italy. It’s a striking fusion of design and food, telling you everything you need to know about cooking and eating pasta like an Italian.

And as if that wasn’t enough, it even has a promo video.

I wonder if I could convince my girlfriend to make her special pasta with aubergine and goat cheese this evening. Mmmmmm…..
